Coming Home is a family outpatient aftercare program for teens who have attended and successfully completed wilderness programs, residential treatment schools and residential treatment programs. Returning to school and friends and reuniting with the family can present challenges, both anticipated and unexpected. Coming Home’s objective is to support teens and their families in the transition from treatment to home. The goal of successful re-integration is achieved utilizing a program of support groups for teens, parents, and families.
These groups are geared towards supporting teens and parents, improving communication within the family, aiding in the readjustment to family life and assisting parents in creating the best environment for reinforcing the growth and positive changes.
